I'm trying to get the the calendar on the phone into Gmail calendar. In calendar->menu\more\calendars-> all is selected.
I had imported all old calendar events from old phone into the phone calendar and for the past few months been adding new events these are set as PC sync. It seems that the only events that get added to gmail calendar are those when entered as a new event with the email calendar selected at the top. If you don't change it at the time of entry it defaults to PC sync and then events don't sync to gmail.
Also there seems to be no direct way to sync old events or ones already entered to gmail calendar. There seems to be no way to change the calendar choice once an event is entered.
Is there another way or function I'm unaware of to do this, or an intermediate app like myphone explorer that can be used successfully?
MYE seems very temperamental. Last time i used it the other day the calendar items appeared when i pressed sync, now when i try nothing appears in the MYE calendar even though it gives the impression it works.Same for contacts on sync about 7 of 1000 appear?? -restarted app and reconnected and now no contacts appear in mpe when syncing :-(
i notice that there is an option in MYE to sync to google and ical. The google is not recommended it says, but there is an option to go from phone to iCal and there is an option in gmail calendar to import iCal.
Has anyone tried this and got it to work I wonder?
