Help Calendar Management

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and maintain my regular calendar using the factory installed app that is white with a green row across the top. I have tried multiple times to download the Google Calendar App for viewing a different set of events I have under my Google Account. However I can't remove or add events from one without them also being removed from the other. Any way to make them independent of each other?

You need to attach different google accounts to the two apps or they will share the same google calendar data.
