Calendar problems

Hi guys

I need a calendar app that can sync between PC and my S2.

I tried Google calendar, but it will not sync!

Can anyone suggest a good calendar app?
Or suggest why my Google one might not be working?

What do you mean by "it will not sync?" It wont sync on the phone or the computer? Does it give you an error?

Events I add on the computer do not show up on the phone.

I am using the default Galaxy S2 calendar app which should work with Google calendar.

There is no error message, just no Google calednar events on the S2 calendar. It seems to take birthdays from Facebook and nothing else.

Are you sure you are adding them as Google Events? Are you sure the calendar on the computer is linked to the same gmail account as the phone?

PLEASE dont bump your post, especially less than 3 hours after you posted it. One, it's annoying, and two, it will only make people mad and NOT want to answer your post. Just be patient, when someone has an answer they will give you it.

1. To what calendar are you adding them on your PC? Remember Google Calendar can use several calendars. I use Outlook on PC and it syncs perfectly to my Google Calendar on the cloud and phone.

2. Are you sure you have set to show Google Calendar and not My Calendar on your phone? My Calendar does not sync with Google.

3. All Calendar apps sync via Google Calendar, unless they provide an additional separate calendar server, which most dont.

Hi, guys.

This may or may not be connected so apologies for the hijack.

I've been successfully syncing Jorte calendar with Google calendar for some time (settings/accounts/sync) until just recently when the accounts/sync process just force closes denying me any way to update.

Having had to reset (no force closes afterwards, btw) and then reinstalling apps at some point the FC began again. I think it was after reinstalling Lookout security but can't be 100%.

Thoughts?

Try checking with the developer. I dont use a third party calendar app, but from what I hear Google changed API on a few of their services (like GMail), so perhaps the calendar was affected? Check if there is an update for Jorte.
