Root Calendar question with BACKside

To begin, I have rooted and done everything on the website below:

http://androidforums.com/optimus-v-...wip-backside-rom-cm7-green-machine-theme.html

The one thing that bothers me is the Calendar app. When I put a "all day" event, the calendar shows that event as a blank bar at the top of the day. Usually, it tells you your event in that bar, but for some reason, everything I do always turns into a blank bar with no words. When I click on it though, I see the event details and everything. What should I do? Should I reflash the ROM or something? I really want my calendar widget to work! And if I do have to reflash, can somebody give me some directions??? THanks!

Hmm, that's an odd problem. I checked my phone which is using the same Rom and I don't get that problem.

To help the forum get a better idea of the issue, can you upload a screenshot of the error?

nvm i just fixed it! i went into recovery, wiped cache and dalvik cache and flashed the BACKside and gapps zip file. lol Thanks for the though TGBlade!

I'm like the guy in the " The Onion " news gag. I want to scratch my eyeballs out.

I have installed numerous calendar alarms ( all full paid versions ) and it seems there is none that automatically sets an alarm. Why would someone not want to be reminded of an event? It's insane.

I used the past 4 versions of the Palm phone and all you had to do was set the alarm and reminder preferences and set it for " automatic alarm " and you would be reminded and nagged about every event.

What good is a calender reminder that requires you to remember to set and alarm?

Does anyone know of anything. I have to find an app or swithch to another system ( does the iPhone do it? )

I use Pocket Informant (usually a paid app) which I got for free on Amazon. It defaults to a 15 minute reminder. It has worked quite well for me.
