Help Calendar reminders have suddenly started speaking

My phone (Galaxy Note II, with Jelly Bean) has suddenly started speaking reminders out loud. It's never previously said anything. There isn't a setting I can find in the calendar app, apart from the normal one for notifications.

Has anyone got any idea why this might be, and how to turn it off? Thanks

That sounds like something other device owners may be best able to help you with.

Just guessing, but go to Settings > Accessibility > Text to Speech output and check to see if Driving Mode is turned on.

Could be in car mode?

I figured it out in the end: I had to go to the Google search app, and turn off the voice output option. Not sure how it ever got turned on in the first place!
