calendar sync not working

I'm stumped. new entries into the razr calendar app are not syncing with gmail/calendar. Settings does have Sync Calendar checked on.

I make an entry in the phone and it does not show up on my gmail calendar on the web.

However, new contacts entered in the phone DO appear in gmail contacts so something is syncing.

I think it has something to do with the Default Calendar selections in the Calendar Settings. There are three choices: None; Phone calendar; and my gmail email address. I can only check one. I've checked the gmail one but that doesn't seem to do it.

Which one should be checked as default so that appointments are always sync with my gmail calendar?

Any ideas? very frustrating.

It appears to me as if you're trying to synch two different calendars. We know that synch works so can rule that out.

Go to Google Calendar on you PC and check the name of the calendar that is being used.

Open Calendar on your phone and, in settings, if you can't find a corresponding name you may find an 'All Calendars' box that you can tick. There's one on my Samsung.

Finally, (or maybe first actually) go into your main settings menu and check 'Accounts and Sync' and make sure that the relevant account is ticked and that 'Auto sync' is ticked.
