Calendar widget

Hi! I just got my stratosphere. I had a different phone for a little while but was disappointed with the memory space. Anyway.

How do I get a google calendar widget to appear on my home screen? On my old phone it was one of the pre-installed choices, but on this one it's not there. Having the little widget right on my home screen was a lifesaver, please tell me I can have it again!

I'm using "Jorte" calendar. It is free and it has a ton of different widgets that are customizable as well. I have one installed that completely fills one of my home screens. Very easy to see the month at a glance.
