calendars won't sync Facebook birthdays?

Hello!

So I tried downloading new calendar Widgets because the default calendar's day wasn't updating (like it would say Dec 17 on December 18th) but when I didn't find any that I liked better than the stock app (the rectangle with the events shown in a scrollable list type fashion) I just uninstalled those. The problem is that I don't have any Facebook birthdays anymore, like they are all erased from my calendar.

How do I get them back?

And also a side question does anyone know why the calendar wasn't updating the date shown at the top?

nnnnever mind it fixed itself! All the facebook events are now magically in the calendar.

Still looking as to why the date won't update itself and if anyone else has experienced it.
