Help Calender and Gmail not in sync.

PC calender and Phone calender needs to be in sync, for some reason the Calender and the Gmail is not updated - I want it to happen automaticly on a daily basis. or every 4 hours I use Android 4.4 and Samsung phone.
Phone:
Settings / My accounts / Google sync is deactivated , I can manually update / synchronise.

I ask for claender opdate nothing happens


Well OK how do I activate calender sync automaticly then ? I dont want to go in a synchronise manually .

Help much appreciated.

This is annoying as is most google apps. Sorry to be negative

Yes, if you want automatic updates instead of manual, you have to enable Google sync. Not for everything, you can choose to sync only contacts and calendar, for example. Go to:
Settings > Accounts > Google > Select your account > Select the items you want to sync.
