I have a rooted Galaxy Prevail. I am using the Calender that came with the phone. So in calenders, I have two.
My Calender and my Google Calender. I do not want to use My Calender. I want every thing by defult to be in my Google Callender. I also want a specific ring tone to play as the default ringtone.
I have tried opening the Calender App. Going into settings, Default Calender and selecting the Google one. Then hitting save and exiting. But the default then resets itself to My Calender!!!! Every time. I have tried like 30 times!
I have even rebooted the phone... All no help. How do I change the darn default?
I have the same issue with the ringtone. I select the one I want in Calender settings etc., save it, and the dam thing resets itself to silent (my phone is always set to sound and vibrate).
I have tried to find a way to delete My Calender so only the Google one will be there, but can not find a way. There are no events in the My Calender.
Any suggestions?? I'm getting kind of pissed over this as I have to remember to check the settings every time I calender something... And I have missed stuff because instead of sounding, it whet to default of silent...
