Brand new to Android. Whilst calling a number with answering machine I inadvertently pressed home key. Could still hear the recorded message with no way to kill the call. Finally found notifications and killed it there. With no physical red button was there a better way to end the call? Wasted three minutes of call charges!

Thank you. I didnt know about the long press. Unfortunately selecting the call activity (green handset) does not seem to reproduce the end call function. On more delving I discovered the Accessibility option to make the Power button the end call button. I will probably use that. Cheers.
