Call Location Samsung Note 3

[Android Question]

The Number comes up on incoming calls. On my old samsung is showed the location of the call as well, ie... (ohio) or (florida). Will the Note 3 do this or is it just not an option? I know verizon has a monthly pay caller ID service but it was standard on my Nexus.

The phone will show what the carrier sends it. If you're still on a carrier that sends the location it should show it. (It also depends on the originating carrier - some of them only send "Cell Phone" and the state when the originating phone is a cellphone. I've even gotten calls [on a Note 3] when the "caller" was a city and state. All of Reno, Nevada is calling me?)
