call log for private number wrong

when i recieve a call from a "private number" it lists one of my contacts as the associated contact, when it definately is not that contact who rang (or any other for that matter becasue there is no number)

Why is it doing this and how can i stop it!!!

in fact - i have deleted the contact that the call log is using to display for "private number" but it still lists this contacts name in the call log!!!!!
