I know this sounds so obvious its almost daft but its worth doing.
I was having problems with dropping signal so I called Orange and they informed my they were having issues with their masts and I should just set it up to run off 2g till they got the problem sorted.
Called back 2 days later to see if the problem had been sorted, it hadn't so I said this was unacceptable, the very helpful lady agreed and knocked
