Help Call problem

HI have a rather annoying problem and wondered if you guys may be able to help.

Whenever, I make or receive a call I am unable to hear anything and the person I am trying to speak to is unable to hear me. The phone says that the call is connetced but it is complete silence (I have turned the call volum up to max).

The strange thing is that if I use the loudspeaker then it is fine.

Any ideas would be most welcome!!
 
First off welcome to the forums :)

I would try pulling the battery and restarting the device.

Otherwise if you are out of options and such you might want to consider a factory reset, it will delete all of your data but it will probably fix this issue.

If that does not work then your absolute last option is to go to whoever you bought it from and look for a replacement.
 
The xs has a non removable battery so you have to press and hold volume up and the power button together until it vibrates 3 times, then turn your phone back on, this performs the soft reset as if you have pulled the battery.

If this doesn't work then try the factory reset from your phone settings, if that doesn't work try to reinstall your software with pcc or sus (Sony update service) which you can download from Sony's support page.

Thanks for the help guys. The soft reset described Del seems to have done the trick as there is no removable battery.

I am now a happy xperia-s user again!
