Call quality - Do you have this issue poll?

While I was going through re-activation of my phone, verizon had me on hold and played this up beat music. I was tapping the phone to the beat and noticed that everytime i tapped the phone, the audio went out.

I tried on a phone call, and the same happened, evertime a did a light tap on the battery cover, the audio would cut out for a second.

anyone else notice this?

I just tested this with a call to local time&temp. Was banging on the back of my phone fairly hard and neither the ear speaker nor speakerphone cut out the sound at all.
