Call Screen Frozen

Ok first of all forgive me if this has been discussed already but if it has I have not found it.

I have the HTC ERIS. I have loaded two different app killers. The first one was Advanced Task Killer and the other was called Android Task Manager (I think that was the name of it), it had the little Android guy as the icon.

Anyhow I liked both of them. I liked the fact that I could ignore apps and also see what was going on with memory.

The issue I had was this. When I was on a call, my call screen would completely freeze up (I was still connected to the outside party) but was unable to press any keys. Even after the caller would hang up the phone was still frozen.

To get it functional again I would have to pull the battery out to reset the phone. The only time I have experienced this issue is when I have had these apps on my phone. And no I did not have them installed on the phone at the same time. I had task killer first, uninstalled it and then tried the other one.

I know there is a huge debate regarding whether you need an app killer or not but I am just interested in knowing if anyone else has experienced this same issue.

Thanks in advance.

I uninstalled it. Which app are you refering too? If there was an update that addressed this and it works I would be open to reinstalling the app back on my phone.

That being said I am assuming that you have heard of this issue.

Yeah I did install that update. I will try reinstalling one of the app killers and see if the problem dissappears.

What apps/services are you closing down. You may be closing a service required by that part of the phone?
