Help Call Sensor problem GT-i5800

pflorin

Newbie
i have a gt-i5800 with froyo on it .. i have a problem with it .. when i speak to someone on my phone the conversation is being intrerupted for a fraction of a second i cant hear what the caller is saying.. this happens to all my calls once at every few seconds. its annoying.

and the second problme is after i end my conversation and get the phone from my ear ... the screen stays black and i cant light it up to press the END CALL button. i always have to wait until the other caller ends the call.

is this problem because of my sensor??? can it be fixed?? i mean if i put the phone to my ear to talk it blacks out my screen to avoid battery loss, but when i want to finish my conversation and want to press the END button i cant because the screen wont come back from that blackscreen standby or what it is. :(

The second problem is solved by just pressing the BACK button (rightmost one) and at least on my phone the screen lights up and the end button works again. Remember that it does not black out to save battery, it is to avoid accidental activation of the touch screen while you have the phone on your ear.
