Help call summary locking phone while displayed

Help !! . I am new to android phones and have had my Defy for about a month now and am very pleased with it BUT one thing really bugs me. When I finish a call a call time summary box is displayed showing how long the call was (great and useful) unfortunately this seems to be displayed for up to 20 seconds after ending the call and the phone is totally unresponsive during this time , meaning I cant do anything but stare at the screen until its gone. any ideas please

i have the same issue but mine is about 4-5 seconds last ,more less

i dont know what to do!!

did you have this problem from the get going?

i dont think i had this when i get the phone!

i read somewhere in a other forum if you have a app something that has access to settings in the phone can have a side affect of things like this .
i had the app called "quick settings" and i deleted it now it seems like the problem dissapeard ..

try it may works

FWIW, I have the Quick Settings app (by Sergej Shafarenka) installed, and have no issues with a stuck call timer. It displays for 1-2 seconds, and I can preempt that if need be, by pressing the Back or Home keys.

However as stated, there could be some 3rd party app causing the issue.

well i did not mean to bring down that app but seems like for me at least its fixed the problem by uninstaling it .

also i had angry birds i did not used it so i deleted

so im not sure what was causing the issue

That's cool, whatever works, go for it. There are a few apps with same/similar names, and I was only trying to provide more info to help narrow down an overall solution. For instance, it could have been Quick Settings, incombination with some other app.

i had the same issue .........just restart the phone and the problem is gone..

have the same issue too and have install Quick setting also.

maybe will try to uninstall see how is it
