Help Call waiting options

I have just been into Vodafone to find out about my call waiting settings. When I am on a call and I get another call coming in it doesn't inform me. All I get is a text message to tell me I've missed a call.
Vodafone seem to think it's the latest software update
Any other suggestions

Open your dialer and tap menu>settings>calls>additional settings and you can enable/disable call waiting notifications.
