Caller location app?

[dayloon]

Hi,

Are there any apps which show a callers location which I could use on my galaxy s4? Ones which work in the UK ideally.

Thanks

Do you mean a lookup for landline STD codes?

You won't get a mobile caller's location unless they are signed-in to some location-sharing service.

I mean when you get an incoming call it shows their city/location based on the STD code

Found one! Thanks anyway

A quick Play Store search turned up these, which seem to do what you want but I don't know whether any of them is any good:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=and.p2l
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=biz.nicolson.britstd
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.andapps.ukareacode
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.org.machineapps.areacode

There are other apps you can use to look up codes afterwards, such as https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mgkamil.android.ukac

Some apps (such as the first in that list above) say they can give the location of a mobile number, but I think that's based on countries like the US where mobile phones still have location-specific numbers, rather than their own STD code range.

Edit: Ah, I see you beat me to it
