Callers are directed to Verizon message

Ok Strange problem. My dad has ST using verizon towers.
When calling his phone number callers get a verizon message stating the number has been disconnected.
Now we know it has not because it calls out just fine and this is not every call, its more random I guess.

Sounds like possibly not all of Verizon's call-switching systems have the account activated. In my recommended order:
1) Dial *227 - this will reprogram the phone (activation process)
2) Contact Straight Talk customer service and explain it to them. They have the ability to reset the associated Verizon activation credentials. You'll probably have to dial *227 after that call.

Let me know how it goes for you. When I last called Straight Talk customer service (4 weeks ago to discontinue auto-pay), I was connected within a minute and didn't have a language barrier. I was expecting so much worse from all the other complaints I've read on here and elsewhere.

PS: I don't know the "correct" terms above... I just call it "activation credentials" because it seems like a good description.

Thank You I will check into that, I got a pm from Sarah at ST so hopefully this can get resolved.
