calling from the phone screen

hi, when i try to make calls from the phone screen (press the phone button and up comnes the list of calls) i seem to be only able to call the last person i called or called me, it wont let me scroll through the list then call someone, it lets me select and edit b4 call then call but this seems a long way to do it is their an easier way to to it that im missing????????

the number keypad should come up,so say you want ur mate phil,queintin,robert,or sammy just press the number 7 and it will give you the list of all the people who`s names starts with those letters,it cos the phone thing is your call history not your phonebok that is the people thing bit
