Calorie Couter by FatSecret

colin9

Lurker
had calorie counter on my old phone till i dropped and replaced it (thank god for warranty) to a mytouch 1.2

Anyway, can't find it on the market as well as a few other apps I had downloaded days earlier on my old mytouch.

could someone send me the .apk for calorie counter? It would be very much appreciated

searched for "calorie" 1st result was fat secrets

Im starting to question fat secret. been comparing sources and fatsecret is off on alot of things. plus fatsecret is based on supermarket foods and not home made stuff

I need a better calorie counter

Love the Fatsecret calorie counter but after several months of using it I need to delete some old data to save memory on my Moto Droid. Anyone know how to do that??

Calorie Counter was updated today. Try the market again (maybe it was a glitch).

Fantastic app; best of its kind by a large margin.

Got the update but still no option to delete old stats. Want to keep the weight record but delete 4 months of daily meals. Thanks for the reply Night.

Go to the website, make the changes and then resync?
I do not see any options on the phone to delete data (other than clearing the cache which won't help much).

EDIT: Not sure if you can selectively save anything (weight histories).

According to the FAQ restarting will clear everything:

"You can restart your diet from today. Go to your "My FatSecret" page and in the top right hand "my profile" box click on "my diet". Once there click "Restart diet" which will enable you to start your diet over from today. You can also select to remove your prior diet history from all charts."

How much data is it using (after ~30 days I am just over 1MB of data)

13.3MB since March 10. Contemplating the restart. Looks like I'll lose everything including the weight monitor but still might do it. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks for all your help. Jeff

questions.. how do you add something that is not in the list manually?? like i eat a certain protein bar thats not on there.

and also how do you save certain meals like salads so you dont have to each time add each ingredient over and over? like chicken, cheese, salad dressing, mushrooms etc

thanks!
