Root Camera and LED FIX?

Just curious has anyone found a fix for the rear camera and LED? Its been quit a while and I've tried several things like compiling the ROM myself and using different camera.msm8610.so files. What Roms for this device have use of the rear camera? What would I have to do to go about compiling the camera correctly? Thank you. I am willing to work on this if someone has any direction.

No roms, except the stock rom have the camera and led light working. There are a few devs you can collaborate with, im sure you already know who im talking about. I think it's a kernel issue, if im not mistaken
