Camera app no longer working

[Android Question]

Tried using my camera tonight at a dinner, and I get a message that the app has stopped working unexpectedly and promptly crashes.

I go to check the application, and I noticed that the Force Stop button is greyed out instead of white and unpressed looking (hope that made sense).

I can't get the application to restart and I've forgotten what model number my Android is. Its a Motorola, and I'm sure that doesn't help much, but.. *shrugs*

Uninstall the app. Go to the Play store and install another camera app. If that crashes too, the camera hardware is bad.
