Camera app that features tap-exposure, like iOS does?

When you tap on a dark area inside iOS's camera app, it brightens and focuses that area of the photo.

This should be standard camera app behaviour.

The default S III camera app does not do this. This means, for example, if I take a photo of my partner in a bus, the light coming through the window practically makes her face disappear.

I've tried Camera Zoom FX, it also does not offer this feature.

Any ideas?

A program in the Google Play store called "Pro Capture" has touch to focus

You miss my point, it's tap-exposure I want.

Besides, all camera apps offer tap-to-focus, so that's not what I'd be looking for.

For dark areas or issues with bright shining light coming from one direction the picture may be too bright on one side and too dark on the other side, there are a number of editing programs in the Google Play store that let you have more advanced control of the area you edit and adjust brightness and picture quality than doing it at the picture taking stage.

Alternatively, a much more faster way would be to move the person you're taking a picture of into an area where both sides of their face have even light exposure, which could be as easy as the person turning 180 or 90 degrees away from the light or sun source, and using the camera flash.
