So now and before the kit Kat update when using the stock and any other camera outside, the brightness in landscape mode is impossible to see anything but when in portrait mode is fine...tried looking through settings etc and haven't seen anything...sent suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you wearing sunglasses?

I'm pretty sure you are. And your sunglasses are polarized. When you turn the phone 90 degrees onto landscape, the light is blocked by your polarized lenses. This is why you can see normally in portrait, but not landscape.

At first I thought your post was a sarcastic reply, but I think u could be right lol....will try it out and see. Thanks man!

By chance covering the light sensor at the top left? I flip mine the opposite direction I'm used to now when I landscape on the g2

Mine will do the same thing too from time to time and without me wearing my sunglasses. It seems to be inconsistent but only occurs when it is really sunny out. Haven't been able to figure out why yet.
