Help Camera connection kit compatibility

Hi,

I have like many just updated my UK Xoom 3G to Honeycomb 3.1 and have been enjoying using my SD card and wireless mouse and keyboard together. I also ordered a Camera Connection Kit so i could download photo's from my little Samsung ES55 digital camera on the move. Unfortunately i don't think my camera is compatible with the Picture Transfer Protocal (PTP) that the Xoom uses. I am waiting on Samsung getting back to me to confirm this though.

My question is, what camera's are compatible? I am planning on picking up a new camera in the next month or so and want to make sure it will be able to play nicely with the Xoom. My budget is about

I wish that were true, but while searching for info on this i have come across many people who can't get their camera's to connect and they have uptodate cameras. Mine is only 2 years old and though basic it has several settings for connecting, USB and Printer. It is also Pictbridge compatible plus has EPOG as well and my Xoom still won't see it.
