Help Camera crashes Desire HD

Occasionally my phone crashes when using the camera. I thought it was one of the camera apps I downloaded so uninstalled them. Now it is crashing with the original camera. It is very inconsistent... No problem for a month then crashes every photo.

Have you tried performing a hard battery reset, by removing the battery, reinserting and restarting the device, this usually helps

Have you noticed if it happens more frequently when you use the camera flash?

Are you rooted and have an ICS/JB ROM installed? If so, disable HW overlays.

Mine un-checks itself when I reboot /turn on my phone (i.e. Everyday)

Have you noticed if it happens more frequently when you use the camera flash?

I have now upgraded I noticed that my phone crashed when using the camera flash, maybe it happened with every 100 photos i take

I am guessing this happens when the battery level is low. Replacing the battery should resolve the problem.
