I have a problem my camera is not working that problem message is camera failed messagehandler.handlermessage (-1) how to correct that? phone model is samsung y pro dous

There's a thread over at the XDA-Developers forum that discusses that exact problem with a few proposed solutions. Maybe one of them will work for you.

1. Try a different camera application. Camera360 is a popular choice.
2. Wipe your cache partition. This video is specifically for the Galaxy S, but I believe the technique should be the same.
3. A Factory Reset may be necessary. Note that this will cause you to lose your data.
4. Lastly, it could be a hardware issue - in which case you'll need to consider contacting a repair shop or replacing the phone.
