Help Camera Failed

all of a sudden my camera app after taking a picture said camera failed, it went through all the motions of taking a picture but it was just gray. So after checking settings, cache, I reset the tablet, probably over kill but hopefully it works haven't had a chance to try it again.

Also now that I've reset the tablet, on my lock screen I have icons that I can't figure out how to get rid of.

My galaxy tab 2 in only two days old and I am getting the camera failed too! I am returning this piece of junk. It not just the camera that is actimg funny, I go to web sites and it won't accept my login, other sites the web page just doesn't accept any focus and are completely unresponsive. I tried rebooting but not helping.
Its going back and I suggest everyone else having troubles, return theirs. If they can't produce a quality product then they should eat their product!
