Help Camera flash takes poor photos

I've found that the when taking photos with the flash on, the photos are very dark or part of the photos are very dark. Taking photos with the flash off, in the same conditions, produces a much better photo (much brighter).

Is this a hardware or software problem? Has anyone else experienced this?

Yep noticed this too. The timing on the flash is wrong I think. Another fix we need to wait for

Yup, same here. I believe the flash shoots too early.
