Here's an issue I have to believe others have encountered. If using the Samsung Note II protective cover (not the flip), the flash's function is impaired. The flash catches the closest bit of the thicker cover, and reflects light into the photograph, making it useless. Same photo taken without the protective cover on results in the usual good photo.

I tried mine.. flash/pics the same with the cover on or off.
Wondering if you've got a defective cover (a small burr in there somewhere?), something displacing the phone slightly.

If its the protective cover + then I have that and mine works the same with or without the cover, only issue I have is dust getting between the phone back and the protective cover which, after time, causes scratching to the back cover of the phone, I suppose thats the joys of working in the construction business.
