Camera freezes after taking pic

I'll take a pic..it will freeze on the taken picture as opposed to going back to camera
The only way out is to hit the back button. I've tried saving to device aND sd card and it does the same on both. Tried clearing cache on camera app but no difference. Would clearing the data on app delete anything? Does anyone have a solution other than wiping the phone? Not an update problem...or is it?

Are you sure this isn't a "feature" that you need to disable? Lots of camera apps have a "photo review" feature that will - when enabled - will purposefully open the photo and wait for action to be taken on it until allowing you to take another photo.

Hi, there is an option in the camera settings to "Review picture", check this is set to off. Phil
