Help Camera Full ?

Please help me. I am no stranger to Android. I have my OG Droid since release day. Rooted, running Steel Droid. Also have Galaxy nexus 10.1 tablet, rooted running Task Rom 14.

1 daughter has Droid 2. Youngest has Stratosphere.

She has about 200 pictures on there, but keeps getting error message that card is out of space. She doesn't have that much on the phone. Bloatware is there, and some apps from market. Maybe 300 songs.

When I look at settings, under storage settings, it says card had 3.96 GB total, with 56 MB available (!)

Phone storage shows 1.96 GB available.

I have tried moving apps,but no luck.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. (Trying to avoid master clearing everything...)

The default for saving pictures I have been told is to save them onto the SD card. I don't know of any way to change that, if someone else knows of one hopefully they will chime in.

Given the small amount of space on the SD card the answer is to move stuff off of the card. Are there any apps she can move to the phone from the SD card? Can she either move some of the photo's to her computer or delete them? Besides the photos what does she have on the SD card and how much space do those items take up.

Another option would be to get a larger SD card than the one that came with the phone, then transfer whatever is on the SD card to the new one. I would check what is the largest card the phone can handle and either get that size or a smaller one (but larger than the 4 gig card currently in the phone).

I have tried transferring apps to phone, but then I get low memory on phone!

On my Droid, which is ridiculously low on memory (262 MB), I store most apps to 14 GB card. I have phone over 2 years, and have way more stuff than Rachel does. I still have 5GB on card and 130 MB on phone.

When I looked at her settings for apps on sd card, there were a few, but not much. As stated, when I try to move to phone (usb storage ), I get "not enough memory..."

Sounds like she has one of two choices, either get a larger SD card or remove some stuff (either delete or move to the computer).

And looking at what is on the card with the computer is not a bad thing, she may find some stuff taking up space that she doesn't realize is there.
