Camera/GPS App?

I remember seeing on some Android device commercials and also on my brother's evil iPhone that some apps use the camera to look at some object or some direction and then have an overlay of like a restaurant or something. (Similar to Google Sky, just not with the Sky)

Are there any apps like this for the HTC Inspire?

There are quite a few augmented reality apps out there. Yelp's monocle does what the OP describes as well.

Best way to describe it is Google Streetview, but from your camera's perspective plus an overlay of icons, etc...

Layar augmented reality app - multiple digital layers, 3D objects & social connect. Check it out for free in market and post if it works for you where you are?
(It's probably more effective in bigger cities - I'm not in one...)
