Help Camera help

I was recently given the nexus as a loaner phone to use, my rezound had some major scratches on the lens that made all my photos blurry. I really don't like the camera app on the nexus, is there anyway I can get the the stock camera app that the rezound uses? Neither phone is rooted and not really wanting to go that route. Thanks for your help!
