camera help

I just changed from iPhone to the samsung galaxy s5 this week so please forgive me if this is a really stupid question. I was finding that my camera really isn't very impressive so decided to look for tutorials. When I was looking at that, I noticed that while in the camera app, there is a gear button. Mine does not have that! How can I get access to that? This is why I haven't been enjoying the camera, because I couldn't find options to play with it! Please help!

A more intelligent reply to help you would result if you would tell us the model of the phone you have. That relates to the carrier you are using... So, what carrier are you with?

Thanks, I figured out what was wrong. The woman who sold me the phone put it on easy mode and I guess you can't access a lot of options if it's set to that.

You are quite correct.

I really wish those Script Readers at the stores would stop doing that. You are the upteenth person to mention that the store set your phone to "Easy Mode".

I suspicion they do that to make it appear 10 times faster than normal with everything is enabled.
