Root Camera Issue

Idk if it's just mine but it's really annoying. Everytime I use the front camera it's very dark. Unless I manually go into the settings and make it bright and I have to do that every single time. But say I use Snapchat or face unlock. It's just very dark and there's no settings to make it brighter or anything. And I'm always in a very good amount of light because if I switch to back camera it's perfect but when I switch back to front camera it's all dark. Is there any fix for this because it really annoying.

maybe it's cuz the front camera only has 1.3 MP. Mine always looks dark on the front camera too lol well when im not in a bright room anyway.

Well Idk because I had a nexus 7 and that had a 1.2mp front camera and it was never dark to where I had to always adjust it
