Let me make this simple. I got a boost Forceoff off Ebaye a while back. The camera is pretty bad. The quality is not the best at all. But my main issue is with how bad it is in low light. I can not even see barely anything on the screen it is so fun. Could this be a software issue or do you think it is hardware issue? This can't be normal because no one could sell a camera where you cannot see what you want to take a picture of.

Mines low lit to when viewing before taking a pic.
You could try the android 4.2 camera app.
But you have to have root and CWM to install.

When you open the stock camera app look at that top bar with the icons. Tap the one that says A and then just tap the picture of the moon that says night. That works for me 9 times out of ten. the macro feature is for taking pictures in high detail when the camera is really close for something.
