camera lens

When you use the phone in the car as a map since the gps need data connection it is pointed towards the sun and it is not covered will the lens become a problem pointed directly at the sun?

In sorry mate, but I'm not sure what you're asking. During GPS navigation there is absolutely no need to point the camera lens at the sun or anywhere else.

I will try to explain. It is not pointed at the sun by me but I have a windshield holder that I connect right under the rear view mirror on the windshield and at some times the direction is towards the sun so will that affect the lens?
