Mine scratched. I just took it off. The cover is worthless anyway. It seems to be more cosmetic than anything. At some point I plan on filing down the four plastic buds and making a flat cover. For now I have a metal ring glued to it for my macro lens.
If you really want to have it look stock you could probably cut out some plastic to replace the glass.

It's silver and you have to buy the back cover along with it. May want to send them an email though and see if they have just the lens cover they can sell you.
