Help camera light stays on

i was having the same issue when i was using this phone on 1.6. but only this one none of the others had this problem. when i switch to video camera mode its fine, when i hit record it starts to record and the little light comes on aswell. in the menu the option is clicked off. whys it doing this?

other than that, not seen it happening so wouldn't know

would suggest the obvious software repair

lol well tape is easier, i have the phone running how i like it so i dont wanna mess with it anymore. it was doing the same thing with 1.6 and now its doing it with 2.1. kinda hard to record hot chicks with the damn light on, lol
