Camera lock screen question

Lets say you have the pattern lock enabled, does the camera gesture bypass the lockscreen?

For example when I had my iphone the camera button on the lockscreen would bypass the pin code, but it wouldnt let you use any other features except the camera.

No. If you make the camera gesture you are then presented with (for me) the pattern unlock screen.
