Lurker
Hi all,

Just afternoon for the first time when i want to use my camera... my screens was going darker and darker when i rotade my N5! When i go back to normal position it was all ok

Thx for you're reply, but the brightness was not on automatically.
Brightness was set to max because I was outside in the sun to make pictures.
Maybe it was brightness on max and one of the sensors gets wrong info?

At home the problem was solved... I did the same and the screen stay's normal.

All phone screens have polarizing filters in them, in order to make them more visible in the outdoors. When the polarizing filter in your phone screen is at 90 degrees to the one in your sunglasses, the only light that can make it's way into your phone screen due to that polarizing filter on your phone is thus blocked by the polarizing filter in your sunglasses, creating the effect you mention above.
