Help camera not functioning

Hello I have seen this forum for a while and have been able to use some info from you guys. I'm hoping you will be able to help me some more. The camera on my commando will not open any more. when you hit the side button to open it. The only thing it does is bring up the force close button. it does the same thing if you try to go into it through the gallery. I have tried turning the phone on and off. I have also tried taking the battery out. But not of that has done anything to help. I have tried to search this both on here and google and have not found anything to try. Thank you in advance for trying to help.

hmmm.... Are you on the latest update? Do you have any other camera apps installed from the market? Are you rooted?

My camera had done this occasionally, but not as bad as yours.

I have checked for an update it says there are no new updates. So I would think I'm running on the latest. I don't have any apps for the camera. I never downloaded any. No I am not rooted. thank you

Nobody's Commando is over 1 year old so its still under warranty. If you are the original owner call in and complain and they will send you another one. It won't be new, but it will be close.

Rj I took your advice went to my local Verizon store explained the problem. They looked it over a a little. Then told me I will have a new one coming in the mail probably Monday. Thanks again
