Help Camera not working

When I start the camera up, it shows nothing but black (no, the lens isn't covered in any way/shape/form).

Done numerous restarts and a factory reset.

Any ideas?
 
Any solutions? I just moved from iphone to desire and have the same problem with the camera and the video recorder. A white rectangle (SD card image?) comes up for a millisecond, then just a blank screen.

I have soft and hard reset the phone already.
