Help camera not working

I wanted to know is there anything I can do to fix my camera on my phone. When I selected it it goes black for a second then nothing. . Sometimes it will ask me to send an error report. I really want to use my camera. .

Do you have anything custom your phone? ROM, kernel, rooted, unlocked, something else? If not, you should take it back to the place you bought it from to get it checked out, if that is an option.
