Camera photo ratio

Does anyone else hate the 16:9 ratio on the 16mp setting on the camera? It's OK in landscape but when In portrait and viewed on a pc it's a horrible thin photo, is there anyway to change this? I know the 12mp setting is different but why can it just be a normal picture size the same as every other phone camera?

Hi, go to the camera, you will see a settings icon (gear cog), touch that and a menu will open with a picture size icon, touch that and a drop down menu will appear, choose your picture size there. Phil

That's what I've already found, is there no way to have something else other than a 16:9 in the 16mp setting?

I have not studied the settings closely, but FV-5 camera has some nice touches that I enjoy.
